Steering Retreat

Before Steering Team attended convention, we got away together for 2 days to cover details of our MOPS year.

(The never ending bowl of peanuty chocolate treats!)

We discussed each position thoroughly, as well as our themes for each month, and what speakers and crafts we should have.  There were also many 'behind the scenes' items that needed to be discussed.

(The Steering Team's Traveling Trophy - to tie in with our 'Plunge' theme for this year.)

We worked and worked for 6 hours straight!  We want to guarantee a fabulous year for our MOPS group!

Then it was time for some fun bonding time. :)

This was a great Steering Team Retreat,

filled with tons of laughter and memories.

Being on the MOPS Steering Team is very time consuming and is a volunteer position.  

It is, however, extremely rewarding and helps MOPS grow as friends, mothers, and leaders.  

Steering positions are invitation only and are carefully and prayerfully considered by the Coordinators and Mentor Mom.

If you are asked to consider MOPS Leadership in the future, please prayerfully consider accepting the offer.
