The steering team for the Indian Creek Community Church MOPS group is comprised of volunteers. These women work towards the mission and goals of the MOPS group throughout the year and maintain the needs of Indian Creek MOPS.

Nicole has been
married to her husband Nick for eight years, they have two boys, ages 6 and 4.
Nicole has been a stay at home mom for 5 years. She met her husband in sunny
Florida, where she as a middle school teacher, and when he took a new job that
transferred them to Kansas they moved to Olathe and Nicole found Indian Creek
MOPS. As a family, they love being outside, hiking in the mountains, and
spending quality time together! She feels so lucky and blessed to have found
MOPS, and the wonderful group of women that have become a part of her life. She
is so excited to be the MOPS Coordinator this year!

Becky is a stay-at-home mom to Emma, a rambunctious 3-year old girl. Becky started her career as an elementary school teacher and taught fourth and fifth grade before taking a break to be at home with her daughter. She has been married to her wonderful husband, Matt, for 9 years. She jumped on the back of his motorcycle the first time they met and the rest is history! In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, drinking coffee with friends, and eating chocolate. Becky is starting her third year in MOPS and is looking forward to serving on the Steering Team as the Co-coordinator.

Debbie is a wife, mom, and grandma. She and her husband, Paul, will celebrate their 40th anniversary this November. She has two beautiful daughters (and son-in-laws!) and three incredible grandchildren. She loves spending time with family and friends, cooking, reading, and football. She is passionate about encouraging women in their many roles and relationships throughout the changing seasons of their lives. She is a Christian Life Coach who strives to help her clients live life to the fullest. She's looking forward to sharing this year's journey on the steering team as a Mentor Mom.

Jessi has been married to her love, Nathaniel, for 10 years
and is a stay-at-home mom to three amazing, crazy kids, Jeremiah (8), Harper
(6), and Xander (5). She loves cheering for the Florida Gators, reading,
anything crafty, and everything about Kansas City. She can often be found
driving carpools in a very messy minivan. Before staying home, Jessi was a super
cool math teacher and is looking forward to using those skills as Finance
Coordinator this year. She is thankful to be part of such a wonderful
group of women.

Rachael is the proud mama to three very lively but sweet boys: Andrew (8), Nathaniel (7), Alexander (5) and two baby girls, Elizabeth(2) and Lillian (1). She is blessed to be married her husband, Kevin, of 10 years, a love that blossomed over making Subway sandwiches together. In her free time she enjoys learning how to cook, reading YA fiction, going to the movies with her boys and watching the wildcats! She is ecstatic to be serving as web team leader and looking forward her 6th year in MOP'S!

Mary is a stay-at-home mom to her two beautiful
daughters, Charlotte (7) and Paige (3.5). Before becoming a stay-at-home
mom, she was a media supervisor at a large advertising agency in KC for almost
9 years. Mary is blessed to be
able to spend this time at home with her girls and watch them grow! She
is thankful for her husband, Aaron, whom she's been married to for over 10
years. She enjoys watching movies, dressing up as princesses, drinking wine,
eating chocolate and having dance parties in the kitchen! She's excited
to continue her role on the MOPS Steering Team as the MOPS Publicity
Coordinator

This will be Ashley's fifth year in MOPS!
She is a full time stay at home mama to two beautiful girls, Jessalyn(5) and
Kinsey(2), and one handsome boy, Harvey (will be 1 in September). She met
her husband in college at MU and they have been happily married for 10 years.
They are both BIG fans of the MU Tigers and love a good backyard BBQ.
Ashley also enjoys socializing with friends, baking, shopping, and
traveling. She is so excited to be the Coordinator for the Discusion Group
Leaders (DGLs) in MOPS this
year!

Darcy has been married to her best friend, Phil for 20 years. After 13 years of infertility, they were blessed with their greatest gifts, Rachel (5) and Zachary (3). Outside of being a wife and mom, Darcy enjoys being a pharmacist, loves, quilting, reading, scrapbooking, crafting, and spending time anywhere there is water (sand and salt water makes it even better). She is looking forward to continuing to serve other mothers by serving as a member of the MOPs Steering Team as the Craft and Service Project Coordinator.
Erin and her husband Ryan
will be celebrating 10 years of marriage in January. They have three high
energy boys ages 7, 6 and 4 with a fourth little boy set to arrive in late
July. They love exploring KC and traveling. In her free time Erin enjoys
shopping (clothes, shoes, bags, home decor....anything),
creating photo-books and planning their next adventure! This past
year she has taken an interest in cooking which is good since her kids are
always hungry. This will be Erin's third year with MOPS and she is very excited
about serving on the hospitality team!

Sara has been married to
her husband, Devis, for 8 years, and together they have 3 boys age 5 and
under. Sara has been a part time stay-at-home mom since they moved from
Lincoln, NE almost 4 years. She may live in Kansas now, but this Husker transplant
will always bleed Red! Along with staying home with her boys, Sara works
part time for an educational technical assistance center. In her spare time
(ha, ha, ha, what is spare time) she enjoys running, crafting, and college
sports. Sara says that MOPS saved her, in a time where the trenches of
motherhood seemed to be getting deeper and more lonely. She found ICCC
MOPS to be a place where she could be vulnerable and real with other women
going through what she was going through. She is excited to start her second
year as the MOPPETS co-coordinator

Caroline is a middle school teacher turned stay-at-home mom of two wonderful boys — Henry (5) and Thomas (3). She married her high school sweetheart Andy in 2008. She enjoys acting in local theatre productions, hiking with her family, playing piano, yoga, and artsy movies. Caroline loves being a part of MOPS, and she's excited to serve as Fundraising Coordinator this year.

Amanda is a stay-at- home mom to a beautiful 1 year old little girl. Before becoming a stay at home mom, she worked as a pediatric and school nurse in Colorado. She has been married to her husband, Mark for 3 ½ years. Amanda and her family recently moved to KC from Colorado for her husband’s job change. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, baking, and being in the mountains. Amanda is so thankful for MOPS and the blessing it has been in the midst of moving and change. This is Amanda’s second year in MOPS and she is excited to be serving as the Curriculum Coordinator this year!
