Summer Sports League Info

Please see the following information from group leader J.P.,  regarding the summer sports league.  Please consider joining this fun group.

Hello Ladies -
 After doing my research - here is what I've found for our Summer Sports League. Looking into all the different options out there for summer sports leagues, I have narrowed the choices down to 2 different options, based on Cost, Location and Equipment Required. Please take part in the poll that I've created to pick which league you would prefer.

1) City of Olathe - COED Kickball. Played at Black Bob Park (151st and east of Black Bob road) - no equipment required. Just wear a team shirt. Played on a softball field. Ball and referee provided.  Starts 6/1 and runs for 7 weeks @ 6:30 pm on Friday. Cost per team is $200; but you can have up to 20 people (minimum of 10 on roster) and only 8 minimum required to play each week. If we could get 20 people - that's only $10 per person!   Husbands and Wives could both sign up to play and rotate who plays each week if childcare is an issue! No fee if you forfiet your game - just have to give them advanced notice.  Not that we would want to do that :-)

2) City of Overland Park - Women's only Indoor Volleyball. Played in the gyms of Tomahawk Ridge Community Center [119th/Lowell (just west of Metcalf)]. June 5 - July 24 (8 weeks) on Tuesday nights from 6:30 - 9:30 pm. There are 3 games each week.  The cost is only $140 - but restricts the roster to up to 12 people. If we could get 12 - the cost is $11.66 per person. The minimum required each week is 4 players and you pay a $10 fee if you have to forfeit the game.
