It was great to see all of you at the first MOPS meeting last week! We are so excited to get the year started and we have lots of fun things planned for the group. Mark your calendars for these upcoming events.
Next MOPS Meeting September 20th. We will be breaking into groups to play Catchphrase. This is a easy and fun game and will give us a chance to get to know moms both from our tables and from other tables. Don't forget to bring your "My Favorite Thing". Each mom gets to bring something they would love to share with the group for under $5.00. We will use them for door prizes in the future. Items could be your favorite cleaning product, a gift card or coupon, a book, candy, or lotion. We will also be making a tote bag. It will be a fun meeting. Hope to see you all there!
Playdates:
September 16 - Snake hunt with former MOPS mom Lani W. at Ernie Miller Park. Meet at the nature center at 10:00 am. Lani is a biologist and she will take us on a hike and help us learn about nature. (Don't worry Lani won't make the moms touch any reptiles!)
October 12th - We will meet at Louisburg Cider Mill at 10:00 am for a pumpkin patch tour.
MOPS Night Outs:
September 22 - Meet at Houlihan's on 119th and I-35 in Olathe at 6:30 pm for food and fun.
October 16 - Come to Mission Bowl in Olathe for bowling from 3:00-5:00 pm.

Hy-Vee Coupon Books on sale now! See Lou Ann C. if you would like to purchase a $5 coupon book valid at both Olathe Hy-Vee stores. The first coupon is for $5 off your next shopping trip so it is like getting the coupons for free!
Save your Hy-Vee receipts! Give your Olathe Hy-Vee receipts to Lou Ann C. and the store will donate a percentage of the sales to ICCC MOPS.
October 25 - Zonkers NIght 6:00-8:00 pm - A $10 ticket buys your child dinner, games, and rides. Invite your friends!
November 8th Bunco Night 7:00-9:00 pm - For only $10, enjoy an evening playing Bunco and have a chance to leave with cash prizes. Bring your friends.

Mark your calendars now for the annual Garage Sale on April 13-15. Start saving up items to donate now and you can drop them off at the beginning of 2012. We will store the items for you until the sale in April.

Childcare workers needed. Indian Creek needs childcare workers on Wednesday nights. This is a paid position. Please contact Terry Geenens at Indian Creek if you are interested.
